We are seeking to appoint a temporary, passionate, and committed teacher to join our thriving PE department. Teaching PE to students of all abilities across KS3 and KS4, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our young people. This role is temporary for one year working 4 days per week.

The PE department delivers an effective and aspirational curriculum designed to inspire life-long enjoyment of, and participation in, exercise and physical activity. The department is fortunate to have access to a wide range of high-quality facilities, including a large astro-turf, MUGA, sports hall, swimming pool, fitness suite, dance studio, activity studio and extensive playing fields.

The team consists of seven members of staff, including several who hold whole‑school leadership responsibilities. We also offer a broad and well‑attended extra‑curricular programme, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to this.

The ability to teach GCSE PE and/or BTEC Sport would be advantageous, although not essential. The successful candidate will benefit from regular CPD, support from a friendly and collegiate department, and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across Chorus Trust.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the continued improvement of outcomes for all students.
