The Corporate Fitness Coach will work within the Fitness Team to provide our customers with a caring and proactive support service. Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a hybrid onsite and virtual delivery of classes, 1-1 and group sessions at all levels.
- Create, deliver and role model the wellbeing programme by facilitating staff initiatives through Westfield Health education programmes.
- Conduct initial assessments, conducting 1 to 1 review sessions at regular intervals to ensure user engagement and minimize dropouts.
- Update training plans and/or re-evaluate clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide support in the delivery of the internal wellbeing strategy with a proactive, insight-led approach.
- Assist the Active Space Manager with various operational and administrative tasks.
About you:
Education and Qualifications
- Currently hold an industry certificate such as Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training/Fitness Instructing and Personal Training. It would be beneficial if you had a group cycling, Zumba, Pilates, or Yoga qualification.
Experience
- A proven track record of successfully working independently to establish training needs, develop interventions to meet these needs, and deliver high-quality health and wellbeing solutions and interventions as a result.
- Experience in teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability.
- Two years of personal training/coaching experience is preferred.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- A self-starter with strong planning and organizing abilities.
- First-class interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Able to engage, influence and coach others across the business to achieve buy-in and engagement to support delivery of the wellbeing strategy.
- A passion and ethos for helping others with their health and wellbeing.
- A flexible approach.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or related products.
