About the role: You will lead a world-class wellbeing experience for a premium Corporate Client, with accountability for the operational, commercial and strategic delivery of services, projects and experiences across EMEA. As our Strategic Operations Manager you will consistently bring positive, energetic, thoughtful and accountable leadership, to both the services we deliver, and your EMEA wide team. We are looking for a leader who builds environments where excellence is the standard. As a leader, you will design the frameworks, rituals and behaviours that allow your team to execute with creative autonomy and an unwavering commitment to quality. Creating and developing high performing Wellbeing and Fitness teams and services that push the boundaries of corporate wellbeing to deliver a world‑class, unique offering will be a key part of your position with us.

Your responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Intermediary, Client Operations Director, EMEA Operations Director and auxiliary support team, to ensure that joint business/Client plans are developed, agreed, delivered and evaluated in line with current and future client needs.
  • Provide effective and visible leadership to structure, manage, develop and motivate your teams, to ensure that individual and team objectives are met/exceeded. This will include international travel as reasonably required.
  • Create monthly functional plans for the Client, including programme roadmap updates, constantly reviewing and evaluating performance and creating efficiencies.
  • Develop long term success of the contract through positive Client and Partner relationships, operational excellence and meaningful innovation, helping to secure contract extensions/renewals for existing facilities as well as seeking and developing new opportunities within the wider Client portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across the business (including HR, finance, IT, propositions, marketing, CSR) and external stakeholders (including suppliers, contractors, specialists).
  • Work collaboratively across our Wellbeing businesses to ensure that Client, Partner and commercial objectives are achieved and exceeded.

What you’ll bring:

  • Degree level education.
  • Confident in managing teams and resources across multiple territories, adopting a hybrid approach combining remote (primarily) and face to face support.
  • Experience in building strong trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, from supplier to clients and partners.
  • Ability to deliver joint business plans, sometimes requiring navigation of an ambiguous business context.
  • Ability to lead the operational delivery of multiple corporate gym facilities, across a broad geographical footprint.
  • A willingness to embrace working within an insight-led culture whereby evidence-based decisions are made in relation to the target operating model, including but not restricted to propositions, processes and people.
