The Fitness Manager will be responsible for the gym floor and Personal Training proposition to our members. You will manage a team of fitness coaches and personal trainers leading them to deliver a world class fitness proposition, provide a 5* customer service, and create a positive training environment for our members. About the role:
- Lead and manage the gym’s fitness team, including personal trainers and instructors
- Develop strong relationships with members, fostering a supportive and positive gym environment
- Ensure high standards of customer service and cleanliness across the gym floor and studios
- Recruit, train and mentor fitness staff
- Achieve PT revenue targets monthly and quarterly
- Deliver PT sessions and classes
- Work in collaboration with the Gym Manager to ensure attendance for classes is high and the product is at a high standard
- Support outreach and awareness events to engage and attract new members
About you:
- Education and Qualifications: Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Training
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience being on a gym floor environment
- Teaching a variety of studio and gym floor-based classes
- Delivering personal training sessions
- Skills: Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, strong planning and organisation skills, people management, ability to create and present department reports when required
