The corporate fitness coach will be responsible for assisting the Active Space manager with the day to day running of the HSBC Birmingham Active Space (corporate gym facility). You will provide leadership, motivation, and supervision to staff, ensuring standards of service are kept high for our members, safety, and operational excellence. Westfield Health are dedicated to making a healthy difference to the quality of life of our customers, and the Fitness coach facilitates our mission by improving the fitness and wellbeing of our members/users of the HSBC active space.

We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated, and approachable candidate who has a keen interest in Fitness & Wellbeing. The successful candidate will be welcoming to members and users of the facility, showing around new joiners, setting up classes and delivering PT sessions (optional). They will also have a well-rounded approach to wellbeing, with an ability to focus on other aspects outside of physical fitness, and assist the client with, and occasionally lead, the delivery of various wellbeing initiatives on site and virtually. They will be working as a small yet passionate team in a well-established corporate fitness facility. For candidates with L2/3 Fitness Qualifications there are opportunities to deliver Fitness Programming and paid Personal Training.

About you:

  • Education and Qualifications: Fitness Instructor Level 2 & 3, First Aid Qualified
  • Experience: Previous experience within the fitness, or leisure industry
  • Skills: Fast learner, fully computer literate with experience using Microsoft products and taking payments via sum up.
