The Mobile Corporate Fitness Coach will be responsible for assisting the Active Space contracts across the Northern and Central regions of the UK. You will ensure standards of service are kept high for our members, safety, and operational excellence. Westfield Health are dedicated to making a healthy difference to the quality of life of our customers, and the Mobile Fitness Coach facilitates our mission by improving the fitness and wellbeing of our members/users of the HSBC Active Space.
About the role:
- On-call cover for the Northern & Central region of Westfield Health Active Spaces covering annual leave, sickness and events.
- When not required for cover, you will be based in HSBC Birmingham and assist the onsite team with normal daily operations.
- Act as front of house and first point of contact to members using gym and other facilities, tracking sign-ups, membership numbers and payments.
- Set up and changeover of studio classes.
- Assist with the delivery of the Active Spaces wellbeing programmes.
- Conduct initial assessments and deliver gym inductions.
- Assist the Active Space Manager to ensure operations run smoothly, and any issues, such as maintenance or staff absences are resolved effectively and efficiently.
- Many opportunities for fitness instructing and personal training if qualified.
- Delivering various fitness classes and gym programmes throughout the week.
About you:
- Education and Qualifications: Minimum Fitness Instructor Level 2
- Experience: Previous experience within the fitness, or leisure industry
- Skills: Fast learner, fully computer literate with experience using Microsoft products and taking payments via sum up. Able to use initiative in new environments. Strong teamwork ethic. Ability to communicate to a diverse audience of people. Time management skills.
- Requirements: Current UK driving licence
