The Active Space Manager will work within the management team to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of the facility. They will be responsible for leading a team of fitness professionals and reception team to deliver a 5* fitness proposition to the members and commercial performance of the site.
The Active Space Manager will ensure the day-to-day operations are meeting and exceeding expectations whilst heavily influencing the fitness product by increasing PT revenue and studio occupancy.

About the role
- You will drive operational excellence of the facility leading health and safety, compliance and cleanliness
- Setting expectations and overseeing day to day operations
- Supporting team development and training
- Rota management to ensure resource is strategically planned
- Responsibility of the commercial performance of the site
- Leading the fitness team to deliver a 5* fitness proposition including the member journey and achieve PT revenue targets
- Managing the class timetable to ensure a wide variety of classes are available to the member during operating hours
- Completing payroll for team and external class instructors
About you:
Education and Qualifications
- Level 2 and 3 Personal Training qualification
Experience
- Commercial or corporate fitness background
- Proven track record of individual and team development
- Driven and passionate in all aspects of the fitness and wellbeing industry
Skills
- Clear and skilled communicator
