As Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet and exceed expectations. You will lead a team of dedicated QA professionals, overseeing their work and ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed. You will also conduct thorough product inspections, maintain accurate quality records, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in maintaining our reputation for quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- To supervise the QA team, to ensure all tasks are completed to schedule.
- To complete product sampling.
- To conduct positive release checks.
- To ensure on-line fruit quality standards are met consistently.
- To ensure that packhouse procedures related to quality are adhered to.
- To assist in the training of Westfalia Fruit and agency staff in product grading.
- To maintain systems to manage label information against customer specifications and to conduct label checks.
- Hold the QA team briefing in the absence of the QA Manager.
- To adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy.
Requirements:
- 3 years' experience working within a food production environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance position.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with colleagues across various departments.
- A keen eye for detail with a diligent approach to thinking.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Desirable:
- Experience within FMCG would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in leadership and team management.
