Westfalia Fruit is seeking a Global Product Manager to drive its convenience innovation strategy and manage a growing global product portfolio. You’ll lead New Product Development (NPD) initiatives across categories such as guacamole, avocado products, mango, frozen fruit, oils, and dried fruit ensuring all projects align with commercial goals and customer needs. Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, and regional teams, you’ll deliver high-quality products to market efficiently and at pace.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the convenience product strategy in line with commercial objectives.
- Contribute to the innovation pipeline through new products, improvements, and line extensions.
- Translate consumer, customer, and market insights into product concepts and briefs.
- Partner with R&D and technical teams to deliver products from concept to launch.
- Assist in managing the NPD pipeline, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
- Coordinate stage-gate processes and support project prioritisation based on business needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support product launches and ongoing performance.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure clear stakeholder communication.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product decisions.
- Support optimisation of the product portfolio to improve performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Product Management or Product Development role.
- Strong experience in project and/or product portfolio management, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Solid understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept development through to launch and post-launch optimisation.
- Confident and effective communicator, with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on execution and delivery excellence.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine passion for product innovation and continuous improvement.
- Strong bias for action with a “can-do” mindset and ability to drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
- Agility and commercial awareness to respond to evolving consumer trends and maintain product and brand relevance.
Desirable
- Experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG or food tech is preferred.
- Additional languages including Spanish, French or German would be beneficial.
