Overview
Leodis Academies Trust is a successful Multi Academy Trust with five schools in the South Leeds area.
We are looking for a Playworker to join the Kids Club team at Westerton Primary Academy.
Westerton Primary Academy is an inclusive, caring school that provides a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum for over 700 pupils in an outer suburb of South Leeds.
Responsibilities
- Work constructively as part of a small team, maintaining a safe, calm and happy approach.
- Provide a well‑organised and stimulating environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues, forging good working relationships.
- Collaborate with other professionals across the Trust.
Qualifications
- Experience working with or caring for children of the relevant age group.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding students and the welfare of the school community.
- Will be required to undergo pre‑employment checks, two references, an enhanced DBS, medical clearance and provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK and evidence of qualifications.
