Our modern care home provides the highest quality of Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care for 106 residents.

As Activities Lead, you will take responsibility for developing and delivering a high quality, engaging and person centred activities programme. The role plays a key part in enhancing wellbeing, promoting independence and creating a positive, stimulating environment.

You will plan and lead both group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, including those living with dementia. Building strong relationships will enable you to deliver meaningful and inclusive activities that encourage participation and social interaction.

Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will ensure activities are well organised, consistent and aligned with individual care plans. You will also maintain accurate records and continuously review and improve the programme to ensure it remains engaging and effective.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in an Activities Coordinator or similar role is essential
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident, creative and proactive approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence for at least 2 years
