We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive culinary experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained at all times. Duties

  • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food production meets quality standards, presentation, and portion control guidelines.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and minimise waste.
  • Support the development of new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team.
  • Oversee food service during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
  • Enforce health & safety policies within the kitchen environment.
