Join Western Union as Director of Corporate Business Services β a key leadership role that requires relocation to Vilnius, Lithuania for candidates currently based outside the country. The Director, Corporate Business Services plays a critical leadership role and oversees teams across Intelligent Automation (IA), Robotics Automation (RA), and Application Support. This role is designed for a strategic people and operations leader - someone who can strengthen leadership maturity within the team, enhance stakeholder management, and enable scalability across our global technology operations. You will partner closely with leaders across the U.S. and Europe to ensure alignment, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a combined Intelligent Automation and Application Support organization, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor team leads, building leadership depth and maturity within the organization.
- Drive modernization of the Intelligent Automation function into a broader automation and process excellence practice (AI + ML + process engineering).
- Oversee the transition of support operations toward a sustainable, insourced model β reducing dependency on external vendors and strengthening internal capabilities.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (including Finance, Corporate Services, Compliance, and Operations leadership) to ensure technology solutions and automation initiatives align with business needs.
- Facilitate strong collaboration across teams in the U.S., Europe, India and other locations fostering cultural alignment and effective communication.
- Partner with the VP of Business Technology Services to prioritize, design, and execute the strategic roadmap for corporate technology transformation.
- Enhance stakeholder management practices, equipping leaders to navigate complex global and matrixed environments effectively.
- Establish clear metrics, and OKRs to measure operational performance and business impact.
Role Requirements
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Vilnius, Lithuania if you are currently based abroad.
- 10+ years of experience in business technology, automation, or process management roles, with strong experience in people leadership or management positions.
- Proven ability to lead and scale teams in global or matrixed organizations.
- Strong background in people leadership, stakeholder engagement, organizational development and change management.
- Demonstrated success in managing senior stakeholder relationships and navigating corporate and cross-regional dynamics.
- Experience in process automation, technology operations, or intelligent automation programs.
- Strong understanding of technology-enabled business transformation and support functions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to engage with Directors, VPs, and global leadership.
- Strategic mindset, with a focus on coaching, developing, and empowering leaders.
- Familiarity with global team dynamics.
Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 5,875 β 9,791 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which include long-term incentives) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidateβs qualifications, skills and competencies.
