Soft Play Centre Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Soft Play Centre Manager to take full operational and commercial responsibility for a standalone soft play centre. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring we provide a safe, clean, welcoming and enjoyable environment for children and families. This is a hands-on management role with responsibility across health and safety, staffing, customer experience, operations and financial performance. The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and peak periods, in line with the needs of the centre. Responsibilities: * Manage the day-to-day operations ensuring an efficient and welcoming service * Handle guest inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally. * Ensure the centre complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, health & safety, industry standards and safeguarding requirements. * Oversee cleanliness, safety checks and equipment maintenance, carrying out weekly checks and managing faults and repairs reactively and proactively. * Lead and manage the centre team, training, rotas, performance, absence and day-to-day staffing, including hands-on support during busy periods and staff shortages. * Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall experience and opportunities to increase revenue. * Oversee bookings, and and events, ensuring a high-quality and smooth delivery. * Support marketing and promotional activities (social media, local partnerships, events) Desired: * Proven experience in a similar setting. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences * Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to indoor play areas or similar environments * Flexible availability, including weekends and school holidays Benefits: * Company events * Company pension * Gym membership * On-site parking
