We are seeking an SA Peer Specialist for our PACT Community program

Responsibilities and Duties for SA Specialist:

  • Function as a role model to peers
  • Exhibit competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills, serve as a consumer advocate, and provide consumer information and peer support for consumers in outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Promote community socialization, recovery, self-advocacy, self-help, and development of natural supports.
  • Perform a wide range of tasks to assist peers in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their own treatment goals.
  • Assist and guide consumers toward achievement of specific goals identified by the consumer and specified in the Individual Service Plan (ISP).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be credentialed for C-SAC, or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP)
  • Experience working with adults with co-occurring serious mental health illness and/or substance abuse disorders
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable DMV record
  • Preferred: Experience in using various computer software applications and/or Electronic Health Record
