We’re looking for a Strategic Portfolio Management Team Leader to join our Technology & Innovation Unit. In this permanent opportunity, you’ll head up our central Strategic Portfolio Management Team. Shape how we plan, monitor, and report on our major tech investments. You’ll lead a highly skilled team driving strategic insights at the core of critical decision‑making and help align our delivery to our new Technology strategy.
Your Role in Action
- Lead & inspire - build and empower a high‑performing team to deliver critical business outcomes across our complex tech landscape.
- Be a trusted advisor - provide strategic and technical portfolio leadership to Technology Leadership and senior stakeholders.
- Drive the plan - lead annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting, plus in-year review and optimisation of delivery plans.
- Turn data into decisions - deliver sharp portfolio insights and performance reporting to drive smarter, faster decisions.
- Shape strategy and governance - define and embed key metrics, assurance practices, and financial reporting to influence at all levels.
- Fuel investment decisions - oversee the Technology & Innovation operating budget and deliver robust financial models that support long‑term investment planning.
- Drive change at scale - champion the adoption of agile delivery, product management, and modern portfolio practices across the business.
- Elevate governance excellence - ensure investment, capacity, and delivery governance is rock‑solid through effective frameworks, health checks and assurance.
