Western Health is seeking an experienced individual to join our growing Women’s & Children’s Services team at the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s, Sunshine Hospital.
About the Role: This is a unique occasion to support and develop a tertiary referral Urogynaecology service within our multidisciplinary Pelvic Floor Unit. You will be responsible for the assessment and management of women with incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Your duties will include:
- Providing comprehensive clinical services, including outpatient clinics, procedural and office urogynaecology, urodynamic studies, outpatient cystoscopy, and pelvic floor ultrasound scanning.
- Performing surgeries and conducting ward rounds.
- Teaching, supervising, and mentoring junior medical staff and medical students.
- Contributing to research activities and service development.
- Collaborating within our multidisciplinary transvaginal mesh management service.

What We Are Looking For:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
- Certification as a Urogynaecologist (CU) by RANZCOG or equivalent specialist recognition.
- Sound clinical knowledge and experience in urogynaecology.
- Satisfaction of credentialing criteria to perform transvaginal mesh surgery.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to research, teaching, and continuous professional development.
