Branch Manager in Leeds

Meridian Health and Social Care is recruiting for a dedicated registered branch manager who will be registered with the CQC to join our team of care coordinators and team leaders in Leeds. The role requires a candidate who can multi‑task, has excellent communication skills, and can efficiently delegate duties while working well under pressure. The candidate will be responsible for the managerial overview and day‑to‑day control of the branch, managing business performance, and ensuring effective strategic planning and management for business growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the managerial overview and day‑to‑day control of the branch.
• Manage business performance and ensure effective strategic planning for business growth.
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality care services consistent with the expectations and preferences of service users and commissioners.
• Represent the business at a senior level, both internally and externally.
• Apply CQC requirements and legislation to all functions.

Required

Job Skills, Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Must hold or be working towards level 5 in Health & Social Care, Leadership & Management.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience in a domiciliary care setting.
• Track record of growing a domiciliary care business.
• Experience and good track record of business relationship management with the public sector.
• Proven track record in using computerized scheduling systems.
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Additional Requirements

• Enhanced DBS Disclosure (If subscribed to the DBS Update Service).
• Evidence of ETW in the UK.
• Travelling will be required.
• Out of hours working will be required, in line with business requirements.
• On‑call availability will be required at the start of the role, but this may change and be amended in line with business requirements.
