Western Gailes Golf Club is looking to recruit full time and part time food and beverage staff to join an experienced team. Established in 1897, the links style, dune lined course is situated along the Firth of Clyde in North Ayrshire with panoramic views across the Clyde to Arran in the West and Ailsa Craig in the South. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals keen to become involved in Scotland's golf hospitality sector.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- The delivery of quality service to customers ensuring orders are promptly taken and placed accurately thereby enabling efficient service.
- Set up, clearing and prompt turnaround of all tables.
- Involvement in the preparation and service for functions and tournaments.
- Bar work - prepare and serve drinks.
- Barista service.
- Accurate cash handling, processing credit card transactions.
- Cleaning and housekeeping duties - keep a tidy work area and keep fridges stocked.
Reporting to the Front of House Manager, essential criteria would include effective communication skills, an ability to work as part of a team, and reliability and flexibility. Must be 18 and over to apply due to bar work. Own transport advantageous due to location.
