An exciting opportunity has come up for Registered Dental Nurses to join our current team within the Outpatient Department at The Countess of Chester Hospital. These posts involve supporting the Dental Nursing Team within our busy OMFS Department. The OMFU Team works from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday with some weekend working. We are looking for someone flexible and dynamic to join our team.
Main Duties of the Job
- You will provide chair side assistance to dental staff who are training in Orthodontics and Maxillo Facial Dentistry and are experts in their fields.
- You will have the opportunity to work in theatres on local anaesthetic cases.
- The ability to record sensitive information, report concerns and help with the administrative duties of a busy clinic are essential.
The post holders must have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate the Trust's behavioural standards whilst providing safe, kind and effective care. Candidates who have already gained qualifications in radiography, sedation and oral health are especially welcome although not essential.

- Ellesmere Port Hospital – providing 60 beds as a rehabilitation, intermediate and outpatient facility.
- Tarporley War Memorial Hospital – a base for community services which serve the local rural population.
