The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus. The selected candidate will provide athletic medical assistance to sports teams assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine. Other responsibilities include:

  • Organization of physical exams for all student-athletes
  • Athletic injury documentation using ATS injury tracking software
  • Supervision of student workers
  • Purchasing of supplies
  • Policy and procedure manual updates
  • EMS Liaison
  • Other duties assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employment sponsorship
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution
  • NATABOC required
  • Eligible for North Carolina State License
  • 1 year experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution is preferred
