About the Employer
Westerham Day Nursery was established in 1994 and is Ofsted registered to care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We are open Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.45am and 6.00pm, 51 weeks of the year.Our children enjoy a warm, welcoming and friendly environment where they are respected as individuals and where learning through play and exploration is supported by well-trained and dedicated Early Years Educators. Our approach allows your child to develop their skills, interests and passions by engaging in a vast range of activities which inspire and enthuse them. Our setting has been designed to provide a nurturing space where children can develop their independence, communication and social skills while benefiting from a safe and secure environment, surrounded by adults who care for them and value their well-being.
What You'll Do
- Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Plan and deliver engaging activities with support from experienced staff
- Complete observations and contribute to assessments and learning journeys
- Support children's personal, social and emotional development.
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice
- Work closely with colleagues and families to support children's progress
- Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children at all times
- Follow safeguarding, child protection and confidentiality procedures
- Recognise and appropriately report safeguarding concerns
- Contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Training Outcome
Successful apprentices may secure a permanent Early Years Educator position with opportunities to progress into Room Leader, Third in Charge or other senior Early Years roles.
