We now have an exciting new opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance engineer to join our fast growing and highly successful client that specialises in materials handling systems. You should be able to provide a broad based electrical, mechanical ability along with a right first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the siteβs performance.
The Ideal candidate will be tasked to make sure all PPM and reactive maintenance are complete on a wide range of automated equipment such as conveyors, postal sortation, mail sortation and packaging machinery.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in an engineering discipline
- Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
- Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys
- Monday to Friday 6-2/2-10 shifts
- Excellent communication skills and customer focus
- Ability to work in a time critical environment
