We now have an exciting new opportunity for a Field Service engineer to join our fast growing and highly successful client that specialises in materials handling systems. You should be able to provide a broad based electrical, mechanical ability along with a right first-time mentality and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve the site's performance.

The Ideal candidate will be tasked to make sure all PPM and reactive maintenance are complete on a wide range of automated equipment such as conveyors, postal sortation, mail sortation and packaging machinery. You will be provided with a company van, laptop and mobile and work from your home location to cover the Midlands area.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds in an engineering discipline
  • Previous experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
  • Familiar with basic hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, Allen keys
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus
  • Ability to work in a time critical environment
