Job Description


My Client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join the Finance Team. This is an excting new role and is required due to the growth of the business, so you will be joining at an exciting time.

You will ensure the effective financial management and performance of the company and to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting ensuring all statutory requirements and obligations are met.

Responsibilities include:

  • To produce and implement an annual financial strategy and budget ensuring growth.
  • To work in conjunction with the Finance Assistant in ensuring the timely and accurate production of the statutory financial accounts within the agreed timelines.
  • To produce accurate monthly management accounts
  • Monthly Payroll
  • Introduce new Benefits and Bonus schemes
  • Financial reporting by means of P&L, Balance Sheet and supporting analysis.
  • Statutory tax compliance including corporation tax and VAT.
  • Lead, coach and develop the existing finance team. Prepare and effectively manage the cash, bank balances and working capital.
  • To take responsibility for the day to day running of the finance team.
  • To work with the Bank ensuring all lending, finding and relationships are managed
In order to be considered, the successful Candidate will ideally be a fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA and previous experience of operating at Management level within a Finance Team
