We are seeking an experienced Gate Engineer to join our growing team, specialising in the installation, automation, and maintenance of electric gates and barrier systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical ability and a solid background in the gate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of electric gates, barriers, and access control systems
  • Automation of manual gates, including motors, control panels, and safety devices
  • Wiring, testing, and commissioning of gate automation equipment
  • Providing excellent customer service on-site
  • Completing job reports and documentation accurately

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proven experience installing and automating electric gates and barriers
  • Strong knowledge of gate automation systems, including motors, control boards, and safety edges
  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Full UK driving licence (necessity)
  • CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude (necessity)
