The predicted salary is between 13 - 22 £ per hour.

Required to support a 14-year-old boy with mild cerebral palsy, epilepsy and learning needs in his family home in Abergavenny, Wales. Role will involve supporting the client to engage in everyday activities, support meal preparation, support therapy programmes and social & leisure outings, enabling him to be an independent individual.

Previous paediatric experience with children with physical and communication disabilities is desirable. An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in care and competent IT skills would be an advantage. Previous experience, full driving licence and own car are essential. You must be registered with or working towards registration with Social Care Wales or a recognised Health and Social Care qualification (QCF, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) is desirable. Competent IT skills are desirable.

6-10 hours per week on a flexible basis.

  • £16.20 per hour weekdays
  • £18.20 per hour weeknights
  • £17.20 per hour Saturday day

  • £20.20 per hour Sunday night
  • £24.30 per hour Bank holiday day
  • £27.30 per hour Bank holiday night

This position requires a fully enhanced disclosure request from the DBS. You will also be required to register with the DBS Update Service. Interviews are preferred face-to-face but may be held via Zoom or Teams, therefore candidates MUST HAVE the ability to attend interview via these methods.
