Main Duties
You’ll Work On Exciting And Varied Projects Including
- Supporting and leading on business sales, acquisitions, MBOs/MBIs, mergers, and disposals
- Carrying out company valuations using recognised methodologies such as multiples analysis
- Preparing and reviewing financial due diligence reports
- Managing client relationships and coordinating with internal teams and external advisors
- Drafting key engagement documents and managing internal deal databases
- Playing an active role in business development, from attending networking events to supporting new client pitches
- Working closely with directors and partners to help deliver projects smoothly and professionally
- Collaborating across departments to ensure our clients receive the very best Westcotts experience

Attributes, Skills, Experience And Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings a combination of technical skill, enthusiasm, and a forward-thinking mindset. Ideally, you’ll have:
- An ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous corporate finance experience, ideally within the SME space
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- A genuine interest in business development and growing client relationships
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude and a passion for learning and progression
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – with the confidence to express your ideas clearly
- The ability to manage your workload effectively and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality analysis and advice
Terms / Benefits
- 36.25 hours/ 5 days per week (flexible and hybrid working is available)
- Annual salary review
- 20 days plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days plus bank holidays after 3 years’ service)
- Death in service 3 x annual salary
