Our client is an award-winning, multi-branch estate agency with an established reputation across South West London. They are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Property Manager to join their successful lettings and property management team in Chelsea. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is genuinely interested in building a long-term career in residential property. You do not need previous property management experience. What matters most is your attitude, organisation, communication skills and willingness to learn.
You will receive comprehensive training, including ARLA training, and gain hands-on experience managing a portfolio of approximately 100 residential properties. You will work alongside an experienced lettings and property management team, learning every aspect of the role from day-to-day property management through to landlord and tenant relationships. The portfolio covers the prestigious SW3 and SW10 postcodes, together with a number of prime riverside developments, giving you exposure to a fascinating mix of high-value new-build and period properties.
What will you be doing? As you develop your knowledge and experience, you will take responsibility for a wide range of property management activities, including:
- Supporting the lettings team with move-ins and move-outs
- Booking and attending property inspections
- Managing landlord and tenant correspondence
- Assisting with inventories, check-ins and check-outs
- Deposit administration and refunds through TDS
- Arranging and monitoring gas safety inspections and EICRs
- Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors
- Managing work orders and maintenance issues
- Assisting with landlord contents insurance claims
- Managing utility accounts
- Issuing relevant notices and correspondence
- Maintaining an accurate and efficient filing system
- Carrying out regular key management and audits
- Taking part in daily team meetings
- Providing a consistently high level of customer service
You will be encouraged to take ownership of your portfolio as your knowledge develops, with support from the wider team.
