We are looking for a motivated Apprentice PCV Mechanic to join our busy workshop in Ardrishaig. This opportunity would suit school leavers as well as individuals looking for a change in career, including some other mechanical discipline who wish to move into bus and coach (PCV) engineering.
About The Role
You will work alongside our experienced PCV engineers to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification in Heavy Goods and Public Service Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (SCQF Level 7) through GTG in Glasgow.
About You
The successful candidate will be based within the mechanical workshop and will be involved in learning about the service, maintenance and repair of vehicles including removal and replacement of major components such as engines and gearboxes.
You Will
- Have a genuine interest in vehicle mechanics and engineering
- Be open to learning PCV systems and standards
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
- Have good practical skills and good attention to detail
