The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Working hours 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday (60-minute lunch break). An exciting opportunity has emerged within our lettings business at Westcoast. With six branches spanning from Bristol to Burnham on Sea, we currently oversee the management of over 1,000 properties. Our Bishopston office is seeking a motivated Student Property Manager to handle a portfolio of 100 student properties. Beyond managing properties, this role centres on building and maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants. You’ll provide expertise and guidance throughout the tenancy, ensuring a high standard of service.

Duties include:

  • Manage and oversee an allocated portfolio of student properties
  • Communicate with Landlords / Tenants / Contractors regarding property maintenance works, required actions to be undertaken resolving accordingly
  • Arranging property inspections and reporting back to Landlords with feedback
  • Ensure all legal compliances are up to date
  • Renewal arrangements for rent recovery policies and tenancy agreements
  • Liaise with tenant and landlord following the end of tenancy
  • Resolving Landlord and Tenant enquiries
  • Ensuring Right to Rent is carried out on each tenant and reviewed as per the guidance
  • Creation and execution of the Tenancy Agreement
  • Answering the phone
  • Completing the full change-over procedure (Check out, cleans booked, broken furniture replaced, new bed covers etc.)

The successful candidate will have:

  • Articulate
  • IT literate
  • Preferably Lettings/property management experience
  • Previous experience in the Bristol student market would be beneficial but not essential

Training: Regular in-house training and online training is provided along with the requirement to carry out a Property Qualification equivalent to a Level 3 NVQ (ARLA & MNAEA equivalent).

Student swap over: No holiday between middle of June – middle of July, over this period there will be weekend working over the exciting student swap over period – this will be paid on an overtime basis.

Holidays: 22 days per annum + bank holidays.
