This is a full time, permanent role based in our main office at Theale, close to M4 Junction 12 and public transport links (Theale Station). As our Mobile Product Manager you will support the Mobile Business Managers in growing the overall mobile business within Westcoast across B2B and Retail, focussing on Google and Samsung, categories including mobile, tablet, accessories and compute. You will help manage our mobile business including forecasting stock and sales with key retailers/B2B partners, managing aged inventory, identifying and driving new business opportunities, and promotion execution whilst ensuring we have a clear commercial structure in place for all categories.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Managing the day-to-day relationship with Google/Samsung on key categories.
- Developing and maintaining a hub of data relating to each category that contains a full roadmap of their range, a core range, product specification, price point and target customers.
- Working with sales managers to ensure customer forecasts are correct and that we have sufficient stock.
- Being a commercial lead working with key account managers to build propositions for their customers.
- Working with the sales teams, ensuring we are proactively driving activities to support the sell through of our selected category of products whilst ensuring we deliver on any of their targeted activities.
- Maintaining a clear and accurate price book covering all relevant price supports, whilst ensuring that system prices are always accurate.
- Providing weekly updates on how the Google/Samsung categories are performing with a key focus on revenue, volume, share, performance vs. target along with highlighting products that are underperforming or at risk of ageing.
- A shared accountability with the product team for the management of aged stock.
