Westcoast Cloud are one of the UK and Ireland’s leading indirect cloud distributors specialising in managed cloud services and solutions. We have grown from 5 to more than 70 staff and we currently provide this service to partners and hold large market share across all indirect distributors in each of the Microsoft service pillars.
With further growth within our Business Applications team, we have the opportunity for a Business Applications Business Development Manager to join the team.
The Job Role
This role is based at our modern offices in Arlington Business Park, Theale, and is available on a hybrid working basis (three days in the office). You will be driving sales, building relationships with clients, and providing applications to enhance productivity and collaboration within organizations.
Most of your interaction with your account base will be by telephone – so you’ll be comfortable in picking up the phone to build relationships, taking a consultative approach to understand their needs so that you can identify the best way to grow their account with Westcoast Cloud.
We’re extremely service driven in our approach, so you’ll be able to take a customer first approach whilst working to tight guidelines.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Targeting and developing your account base, demonstrating growth and achieving individual revenue and profit targets.Driving sales of Business Applications by utilising Microsoft programs and our Partner-to-Partner engagement model. Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities within an end user’s existing estate
- Building professional relationships with clients and partners and a strong understanding of your account base, to complete accurate account maps and forecasts. Work with Partner Account managers to drive uptake of Business Applications within their customer base
- Conducting presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform solutions.
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Business Applications, providing expertise and support for related sales initiatives. Work with marketing to deliver the benefits of Microsoft Business Applications through creative outlets such as webinars, blogs, vlogs and brochures.
Is this the role for you?
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
- Experience in sales, particularly in the technology sector
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and vendors
- Some experience with Dynamics and Power Platform would be beneficial, but not essential as you’ll be working with a supportive, friendly and supremely driven team – we’ll ensure that you are given full training on all our products/services and you’ll also gain industry recognised accreditations.
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify business needs
- Self-motivated and keen to learn and develop
