Overview: Westbourne is a leading independent co‑educational school in Sheffield, offering a first‑class education to children aged 4‑16. The school has recently completed a £3m estates development project and is entering an exciting phase of growth. This role supports a team of teachers to deliver an EYFS curriculum in a child‑centred environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver the EYFS curriculum under the guidance of the EYFS teacher.
- Manage a dedicated group of key children, utilising observation and reflective practice to track developmental progress.
- Maintain learning diaries and ensure the safety and welfare of all pupils.
- Model a growth mindset, building strong partnerships with parents and the wider community.
- Support Breakfast and After School Clubs, assist with educational visits, and collaborate with the Junior School team.
- Contribute to the school’s professional culture and uphold the 'Westbourne Way'.
