We are seeking passionate people to re train to be vehicle recovery drivers, helping our customers and their vehicles on a daily basis.

The role
This is a home based role giving the added advantage of not having to drive to and from work everyday. You will work from a dedicated vehicle fully equipped with specialist tools to recover vehicles.
We attend breakdowns and recover vehicles in all weathers so you need to be prepared to work outside and sometimes in difficult conditions to rescue our customers.

Westbourne Motors provides a range of services to motorists throughout Southern England. The Companies main activities include:
Roadside Assistance following vehicle breakdown for cars and commercial vehicles.
Vehicle Recovery following major breakdown or accident to any UK destination.
Workshop Repair for repairs not possible at roadside and for general servicing and vehicle maintenance including MOT testing.
Secure vehicle parking for vehicles, normally following road traffic accident, awaiting insurance inspection or disposal.
Hire cars for customers after non-fault road traffic accidents.
The Company operates from key locations across the South. All sites benefit from vehicle repair workshops, a fleet of rescue recovery vehicles and suitable stocks of replacement parts.
Job Description
The aim of a recovery driver is to safely recover vehicles and passengers following a roadside breakdown.
Roadside Vehicle breakdown encompasses breakdowns and accidents either at the customers home address or at any location within the UK.
The first priority of the operative is always the care and safety of any customers present with the vehicle. The operator represents Westbourne Motors and consistently high levels of customer care are called for, remembering that customer may be traumatised after breakdown.
The Company actively encourages further training of recovery drivers to enable them to carry out basic roadside assistance.
Vehicle Recovery can be to any UK destination.
Basic salary (based on licence category)
C1 – 7500kg – £33,000.00 per annum
C – Above 7500kg rigid – £34,000.00 per annum
C+E – Articulated – £35,000.00 per annum
A variety of bonuses are available.
Various shifts are available.
