Monday-Friday roles or various shift patterns available. Are you a 7.5T, Class 1 or Class 2 licence holder looking for a new start and love driving? Fancy making a career from moving vehicles and meeting some great people along the way? We are seeking passionate people to retrain to be vehicle recovery drivers, helping our customers and their vehicles on a daily basis.
The role is home based, giving the added advantage of not having to drive to and from work every day. You will work from a dedicated vehicle fully equipped with specialist tools to recover vehicles. We attend breakdowns and recover vehicles in all weathers, so you need to be prepared to work outside and sometimes in difficult conditions to rescue our customers.
SHIFT PATTERNS: We have a variety of shift patterns available, including Monday-Friday, Monday-Friday with alternate weekends, or shift patterns "4on2off" and "4on4off" also available in some areas. Example shift pattern: Four days on two days off, shift rotates to the next start period after every two days off. Pattern and start time may change but duration remains the same:
- 07.00 to 19.00 Early
- 10.00 to 22.00 Middle
- 14.00 to 02.00 Late
We are seeking candidates that always seek to provide outstanding customer service in a sometimes challenging environment, people that go 'above and beyond' to offer our customers a solution that really fits their needs. You will need to have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of three years and hold a C1E, Class 1 or Class 2 licence along with a valid DCPC and tachocard. All successful candidates must also pass a DBS check and enhanced police vetting.
Basic salary depends on driving licence category, with the opportunity to enhance your pay with regular overtime and bonus schemes. Basic salary from £32,000 depending on working pattern and driving licence category. A variety of bonus and overtime opportunities are available which could add a further £9,000 per annum to the base pay above.
