Based at our Hickstead branch you will receive calls from major motoring organisations, the motor trade and the public for vehicles crashed or broken down at the roadside. Our UK Control Centre handles up to 15,000 jobs each month. The controllers dispatch the most appropriate recovery vehicle to the scene and act as liaison between the roadside technician and the motoring organisation, so a friendly warm outgoing personality is essential.
Controllers work shifts including weekends and bank holidays and operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Computer literacy is essential as is the ability to work under pressure. All newly appointed controllers are provided with uniform and full in-house training.
