Class 2 Driver

We are seeking passionate people to re train to be vehicle recovery drivers, helping our customers and their vehicles on a daily basis.

The role

This is a home based role giving the added advantage of not having to drive to and from work everyday. You will work from a dedicated vehicle fully equipped with specialist tools to recover vehicles.

We attend breakdowns and recover vehicles in all weathers so you need to be prepared to work outside and sometimes in difficult conditions to rescue our customers.

We have a variety of shift patterns available.

You

We are seeking candidates that always seek to provide outstanding customer service in a sometimes challenging environment, people that go 'above and beyond' to offer our customers a solution that really fits their needs.

You will need to have held a full driving licence for a minimum of three years.

Basic salary depends on driving licence category, with the opportunity to enhance your pay with regular overtime and bonus schemes.

All candidates are subject to CRB checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, utilizing mechanical knowledge and hand tools.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring heavy lifting is conducted safely and in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and organized, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
