About Westbourne

Westbourne is redefining what school can and should be in a global, AI-shaped world. Across our campuses, we combine academic rigour with real-world relevance, leadership development, and future-facing pathways in Business, STEM, and beyond. We are not a volume-driven school, and we do not operate a traditional admissions model. We are building a distinctive, high-impact education institution, and that requires a fundamentally different approach to growth.

About the Role

This is not a typical admissions role. Based in the UK, the Regional Growth & Admissions Head holds day-to-day responsibility for driving increased international student admissions growth for the UK campus, while also acting as the regional growth lead across all current and future Westbourne campuses. You will lead student recruitment, partnerships, and business development across the UK and designated international markets, representing the full Westbourne ecosystem — not just a single campus. You will report to the global growth leader and collaborate closely with growth and marketing colleagues globally. You will create demand, open doors, build partnerships, and act as a visible regional evangelist for Westbourne’s philosophy and model. The role offers significant autonomy; you will shape it as much as you execute it. If you are used to managing inbound enquiries and waiting for demand to arrive, this role is not for you. This role is for someone who wants to write their own playbook, wins through consultative sales, and creates real, lasting impact.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Growth, Recruitment & Admissions Leadership
    • Own and deliver specific international student admissions outcomes for the UK campus.
    • Lead recruitment activities across domestic and international markets on behalf of all Westbourne campuses.
    • Take full ownership of pipeline creation, progression, and conversion, from first engagement through to enrolment.
  • Consultative Sales
    • Engage families, students, and partners through consultative, values-led conversations, not transactional sales.
    • Challenge assumptions about traditional schooling and clearly articulate why Westbourne is a differentiated, future-ready choice.
    • Identify and nurture champions among parents, students, agents, and strategic partners.
    • Confidently present Westbourne’s vision to senior stakeholders, both virtually and in person.
  • Partnerships & Business Development
    • Build and manage high-impact partnerships with education agents, corporates and employer networks, and referral and ecosystem partners.
    • Identify opportunities to increase student numbers across existing campuses.
    • Explore and help validate opportunities for new campus growth and expansion.
    • Represent Westbourne at events, conferences, and industry forums.
    • Actively build industry relationships to enable regular industry-led workshops for students in Business, STEM, and related fields.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Maintain disciplined CRM management, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Track performance against targets and adapt strategy quickly.
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, academic leadership, and campus teams.
    • Negotiate commercial terms, agreements, and partnership structures.
    • Handle objections with confidence, credibility, and empathy.

About You

  • Experience & Background
    • Proven experience managing both B2C and B2B sales and partnerships.
    • Demonstrated success in consultative sales, business development, or growth roles.
    • Comfortable creating demand rather than simply responding to it.
    • Experience working across multiple markets is highly valued.
    • Experience in the business of education is desirable, but not essential.
  • Skills & Attributes
    • A proactive, curious, and commercially sharp profile with clear evidence of proactively generating sales.
    • Exceptional relationship builder with strong influencing skills.
    • Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders.
    • Highly organised, disciplined, and KPI-driven.
    • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a startup-style environment.
    • Energised by candid feedback, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Willingness to travel as required.

What This Role Is (and Is Not)

  • This is a growth and evangelism role with admissions accountability.
  • This is not an administrative admissions function.
  • This is an opportunity to shape strategy, partnerships, and outcomes.
  • This is not a role for someone who prefers rigid structure and predictable inbound flows.

Why Join Westbourne

  • Play a defining role in shaping how Westbourne grows in the UK and beyond.
  • Enjoy genuine autonomy to build, test, and refine growth strategies.
  • Work in a mission-driven environment creating real, life-changing impact for students.
  • Build a personal and professional legacy as Westbourne expands.

If you want a conventional admissions role, this is not it. If you want to build something different, and create real impact, we want to hear from you.
