We are recruiting at Westbourne Academy for a Teacher of Design & Technology/Food required from 01 September 2026. MPS 1 - UPS 3. Full-time and part-time hours considered. Applications from ECTs are welcomed.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Design & Technology or Food who can ensure pupils receive an excellent education through the delivery of high-quality teaching. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with the ability to teach both KS3 and KS4.
You will be joining a dynamic and exciting team, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The successful candidate will have a commitment to continued professional development and will be a dynamic and forward-thinking individual, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of Design & Technology in the classroom.
We are seeking an ambitious professional with the ability to teach food technology and hospitality and catering to KS4, to join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring; creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
As a key member of the team, you will be a dedicated professional capable of supporting and leading classroom and extra-curricular programmes. We welcome applications from ambitious individuals, who have the drive, passion and vision to lead the department forward.
The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by our teaching and learning team and a strong SLT.
