This is an ideal opportunity for someone part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or Qualified By Experience, who’s keen to move beyond the month-end and into a value-adding, strategic finance role.
You’ll gain exposure to a growing multi-entity group operating across the UK, Europe and international markets, giving you a broad commercial view across geographies and business lines. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Operations, and Finance teams, helping translate financial data into actionable insights, supporting business decision-making, and driving performance across key commercial areas.
You’ll be exposed to a wide range of business scenarios and supported to grow into a strategic business partner, with a clear progression path. The role offers a unique blend of hands-on finance work and cross-functional collaboration, supporting both day-to-day activities and business-critical projects.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Operations to support margin analysis, cost control and profitability.
- Review commercial performance and deliver financial insights to aid decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities working with stakeholders to build ownership and accountability.

- Improve and own monthly reporting, forecasts and variance analysis.
- Help streamline financial processes and reporting, supporting automation and scalability.
- Build dashboards and Excel/NetSuite analysis to enable real-time decision-making.
- Assist in month-end close, reviews of monthly results vs forecast, and support year-end audit prep.
- Support the CFO and Financial Controller with ad hoc reporting and commercial initiatives.
- Support month-end close activities, including variance reviews and year-end audit preparation.
- Provide hands-on support to the transactional finance team during the early stages of the role.
- Support the CFO and FD with ad hoc reporting and commercial initiatives.
What we're looking for
- Part-qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or Qualified By Experience with strong commercial finance experience.
- Highly proficient in Excel: pivot tables, lookups, and confident with large data.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with non-finance teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive problem-solver who enjoys understanding what’s behind the numbers.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines.
- Keen to learn and evolve into a broader business partner role over time.
