Salary £25,242.00 - £26,703.00 per annum (pro rata). 1x Permanent Full Time Post (37 Hours per week).

West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit PNC Validation Officers to join the PNC Bureau based at Wakefield. The successful candidate will provide input, interrogate, and review service into the Police National Computer, processing internal and external information accurately onto the relevant system.

To be considered for this role you must possess a good working knowledge of computerized databases and be capable of successfully completing IT courses required for the role. Additionally, you will need to be able to recognise inconsistencies in information, ensuring customer satisfaction and deadlines are achieved.

As one of our PNC Validation Officers you must be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the requirements of the section. The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. The role is suitable for agile working. Once trained and competent, the successful applicant will be able to apply for agile working from home.
