The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and work as part of a small team responsible for the management of force contingency and business continuity plans. This will include the design, development, and ongoing review of plans. Planning and facilitating exercises to test and validate plans, both in Force and the wider resilience community, and the management of the Force Plans SharePoint platform and additional planning systems.
The role also involves providing advice and consulting services throughout the force at all levels, up to and including the Chief Officer Team. You will be required to prepare and deliver presentations and training and represent the Force at internal and external meetings. You will be expected to work with partner agencies through the West Yorkshire Resilience Forum, as well as counterparts in external forces and CTP NE.
This role would suit a candidate with proven experience in contingency and business continuity planning, risk management, and exercising, as well as a good working knowledge of computerised systems and Microsoft Office and a willingness to attend courses and seminars. This is a unique role with a requirement to achieve a bespoke and in-depth knowledge of the Force Plans, organisational working practices, and the provision of guidance and support.
The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated with good communication and organisational skills and will be able to work independently and as part of the team. You must be prepared to work flexibly to suit the requirements of the department within areas of work and working hours. The post holder needs to be proactive to respond to the needs of the Force and wider partners in achieving critical deadlines or urgent planning for critical incidents and events.
You may be required to travel for business purposes and work at any location within the Force, potentially at short notice if the operational requirement dictates. The successful candidate will require Management Level Vetting and Security Clearance (SC).
