We have an exciting opportunity working within our Counter Terrorism Policing Team. You will support the Quality Manager in the delivery and management of the CTP NE Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with international standards, Forensic Science Regulator's Code and UKAS Technical publications. Your role will involve coordinating and conducting internal audits, investigating non‐conformances, implementing corrective actions and updating the Quality Management System to enable an efficient and effective Forensic and Digital Investigation Service.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of ISO standards and a proven instrumental role in supporting an ISO Quality Management System.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and meticulous attention to detail for checking, preparing, presenting reports and updating QMS records.
  • Training and experience working in an accredited environment and familiarity with ISO auditing/assessment procedures.
  • Proven experience in root cause analysis and implementation of appropriate corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and operate within tight schedules and timescales.
  • Ability to recognise and handle sensitive information, maintaining utmost discretion and confidentiality.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally for business purposes and work flexible hours to meet the unit's requirements.
  • Full UK/European driving licence.
