The following vacancy has been advertised externally:
Safeguarding Clerical Officer – Child Vulnerability and Exploitation Team (CVET)
Location: Dewsbury, Kirklees District
One part-time permanent post of 18.5 hours (job share).
Salary: £24,921 – £27,351 per annum (pro rata).
Applications are invited for the role of Safeguarding Clerical Officer within the Child Vulnerability and Exploitation Team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team of police officers overseeing the management and safeguarding of young people vulnerable to CSE and CCE.
The role involves liaising with Social Care and other agencies, sharing information via typed reports, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions.
You will research police systems to gather relevant information, present it clearly, type up intelligence reports, and record crime occurrences.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
This is a job share position.
