An excellent opportunity has arisen to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terrorism Policing. We want someone who enjoys working as part of a team, but also has the self-motivation to work independently.
In this role you will receive, assess, evaluate, and develop intelligence, ensuring compliance with local and national policy. This will involve controlling information and intelligence dissemination to both internal and external partners.
Eligible candidates will come with relevant experience within an intelligence environment with experience of intelligence/investigative skills relevant to collecting, analysing and dissemination of intelligence. You will have an understanding of the National Intelligence Model and National Security Issues. You will also have an understanding of Police legislation around exhibit handling.
This post includes a working week of Monday-Friday with a shift pattern, however there is a requirement to work a rota which includes weekend working for which the appropriate weekend enhancement is paid. You will also be required to participate in on-call duties on a rota basis for which you will receive the appropriate payment.
You must be prepared to work flexible hours to suit the CTP requirements, and be prepared to attend meetings throughout the UK plus have the ability and willingness to travel and work elsewhere, for business purposes.
The successful candidate must be a British Citizen and will be subject to enhanced level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment and developed level personal and financial vetting checks after appointment.
