Digital Policing Directorate – West Yorkshire Police

Location: Force Headquarters, Wakefield

Contract: Full‑Time | Permanent | Hybrid Working | 37 hours per week

Salary: £32,247 – £40,893 per annum

Role Summary

What You Will Be Doing

• Supporting the analysis and delivery of digital transformation projects.
• Engaging with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
• Assisting in the development of business cases, process maps, and solution proposals.
• Researching tools, techniques, and emerging technologies to inform project delivery.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of services and systems.

What We Are Looking For

• A strong interest in digital transformation and innovation.
• An understanding of business‑customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
• Willingness and ability to work towards industry‑recognised business analysis qualifications (fully supported by West Yorkshire Police).
• Education to A‑level standard (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively.
• Experience in researching and presenting information in a clear, structured format.
• Awareness of current and emerging digital technologies and their potential applications.
