Overview
Applications are invited for the role Calderdale\’s Clerical Safeguarding officer. Police staff to work with Calderdale Safeguarding to coordinate the daily DRAMM (Daily Risk Assessment Management Meeting).
Responsibilities
- Review domestic abuse incidents and prepare the referrals to be heard in the DRAMM (Daily Risk Assessment Management Meeting).
- Coordinate the DRAMM in partnership with other internal West Yorkshire Police departments, and external forces.
- Work with agencies to prepare and coordinate the DRAMM. This involves the use of video conferencing, contacting agencies directly and recording the MARAC, the discussions and agreed actions.
Working hours & Vetting
Working hours, Monday to Friday 7am-3pm, Applicants should be aware that it is not always possible to carry out adequate vetting checks on persons who have not been resident within the UK for the last five years. Therefore, where this applies, applicants may be refused because it was not possible to vet them to the appropriate standard.
