West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join the International Assistance Unit based at Bradford.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full and comprehensive administrative service to Protective Services Crime International Assistance Unit.

Requirements

  • You will have a good working knowledge of and ability to operate computerised databases including Microsoft Office.
  • You will have proven experience in an administrative role and excellent communication skills.
  • You will also need the ability to work in a high-pressure environment and to meet tight deadlines.
  • You will need to be prepared to work flexible hours and at various locations to suit the Forces requirements.

The successful candidate will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. Applicants should be aware that it is not always possible to carry out adequate vetting checks on persons who have not been resident within the UK for the last five years. Therefore, where this applies, applicants may be refused because it was not possible to vet them to the appropriate standard.
