Overview
West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) administers the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) on behalf of over 850 different employers in West Yorkshire Pension Fund, Lincolnshire Pension Fund, London Borough of Hounslow and London Borough of Barnet. We also administer pensions for 24 Fire and Rescue Authorities in the UK.
About the Role
As part of the Employer Relations Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of an advisory training and consultancy service for pensions and payroll staff on all aspects of the administration and delivery of the Local Government Pension Scheme and Firefighter Pension Scheme.
Responsibilities
- You will help to ensure that WYPF and employers adhere with LGPS and Firefighters regulations, overriding pension legislation and requirements imposed by the Pensions Regulator.
- You will have extensive experience of pension scheme administration which should include LGPS and or Fire Pension Scheme experience.
- You should have experience of giving presentations and can demonstrate the ability to tailor communications to an audience.
Qualifications
You should hold a Foundation degree in Pension Administration and Management (CIPP) or an equivalent relevant professional qualification. For example, a professional qualification in teaching, education, adult learning, training and development or relevant degree.
